The Skid
Your goods need to be securely fixed to a skid to ensure safe handling throughout our network.
Banding and wrapping
To keep goods stable during transit, secure them with adequate banding and wrapping. Nothing should extend beyond the skid edges.
Also keep in mind...
Our standard skid weight limit is 1,000 lbs. Oversized freight may count as additional skid spots.
Weight exceeds standard limit
This shipment is over the standard 1,000 lb skid limit and may need review before booking.
The best way to measure your skid
Measure the freight after it is secured on the skid. Include anything that overhangs.
